Unfortunately at the moment lockdown. With the current chef and the very friendly team around the young managing director, it's always worth a visit. We are already looking forward to the reopening.

Tasteful ambience, dishes of excellent quality and appetizingly presented. Map always adapted to the season! Service attentive and unobtrusive. Always like to come back here.

Very nice restaurant near the De Witt lake. The food was excellent. We sat nicely on the terrace and were well served. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Easy parking in front of the door .. Always happy.

Nicely restored mill from the 14th century. Restaurant comfortably furnished. There is fish, schnitzel, pasta and more on the menu. We ordered pasta with salmon and fried cod with potatoes. It tasted good to us. It should also be noted that the waitress checked whether everything was in order. Finally, an espresso, the cup could be a little hotter. But that's complaining at a high level. We will be back.

Took a dish to take home with me: "AHI POKE". Marinated, raw tuna with wild herb salad and barley risotto (cold, as a salad). Soy sauce, sesame ... A PLEASURE! The new chef can cook really well !!! If I had eaten there, the arrangement would of course have been much nicer, but that doesn't change the great taste.

Very good food and very careful, nice service in a pleasant, rural atmosphere.

The schnitzel is definitely worth the money. My girlfriend also loved her foil potatoes.

I come to this restaurant for lunch regularly once a week. The staff is very attentive, always friendly and very dedicated. There is a regular weekly menu for the lunch menu. The prices are moderate, the quality of the food absolutely appropriate. After the change of chef, the menu has changed very positively, very tasty, light Mediterranean cuisine. But German standards such as Wiener Schnitzel are also recommended. I am glad that the compulsory break in the lockdown phase was not the end of the restaurant. Hence a clear recommendation! Nice; Sitting outside when the weather is nice, the splashing of the small fountain is relaxing.

Top restaurant with very tasty food. The very high ceilings make the restaurant look classy and yet cozy. We also stayed there, very nice cozy rooms. bed was totally comfortable and the equipment is very high quality. Very friendly service, would love to come back!

We enjoyed the delicious Etageren breakfast very much. Prosecco included. Cozy inn and nice service. Nice that we were able to enjoy this breakfast until noon.

There is a very small choice on the menu list and the prices are far to high. After many years, we said good bye. This is no longer our place to be.

Fantastic foods

This place is great if you like nature and horses. "Landhaus" styled and good breakfast, but unfortunately too much noise from the restaurant and cafe is audible in your room!

Great stay

We staid here for one night in May 2017, including two long days. Overall experience was really positive! The check-in at the hotel was easy and quick - the room was available and very spacious for our small family. Also both our small dogs were welcome to the hotel against a small pet fee. The location of the hotel is really nice, next to a small lake and river paths, and walking routes and paths to any directions. The hotel has a very nice outer terrace area and spacious restaurant area. In the restaurant, the food is of top quality and the service is equally excellent. Parking was easy next to the hotel, and late check-out possibility was uncomplicated. Can recommend this hotel for business travellers on or around Düsseldorf greater area, and also the restaurant for team or even customer dinners. -Tuomas.
